Thank you! I get that bit but the part I don’t understand is why can’t it go to the lungs and then just straight to the body from there? Why does it have to go back to the heart is whats getting meAs an engineer I would say this might keep the maximum pressure low. I am assuming an oversimplified system where the lungs are a “fine mesh” that causes a pressure drop and the rest of the body is another “fine mesh” pressure drop.
