I (quite literally) stumbled upon my little dude in a similar way almost 4 years ago. I have had several pets throughout my 30 years but never loved anything as much as that little nugget. Same here, I was still in secondary school and on the way home this little black kitten started screaming at me so I picked him up and brought him home, he has been with me now for around 10 years and is quite the character.

I found my cat being tormented by a bunch of kids outside my apartment when he was 5 weeks. He’s the biggest brat but he’s my brat goddamnit. It’s funny, I was two weeks past holding my first ever cat as she passed away when instinctually I knew she led me to the pet store (to just get the other two cats food btw) as I accidentally walked by the window that would have the panther baby that would heal my wounds. Was this in San Jose? Cause that’s how This King was born in June Best Birthday T-Shirt I got my cat at the same time and someone else that lives near us took the other one! Nope, Kansas City. She had no siblings with her. She was all alone and very scared, but after we cleaned her up she warmed right up to us. My black panther Decker was left in a dumpster behind a supermarket at 3-4 weeks. He turns 2 this week. I love him more than myself he is my baby
