With a living, breathing, competent coaching staff, Manning would have more than one ring and would have played on a team with a living, breathing defense. Tom Moore, a holdover from the previous regime, was the only good coach on that team. Dungy completely surrendered control of the offense to Moore and Manning and they made fireworks so that he could focus on a defense that, as any Colts fan would tell you, was fucking atrocious time and time and time again.
