Interesting that he includes “big armed” in his blurb on Fields. One of his criticisms in the offseason when he ranked Fields in the 20s on his big board was he wasn’t sure if his “average arm” would translate. (Edit: to clarify, I agree with his current assessment of Fields arm, and thought he was nuts calling his arm average 8 months ago) I also really don’t want a safety in the first for Cleveland. DE and CB are far larger needs imo. As is LB, though I think JOK is Property Of XXl Landry Athletic Dept T-Shirt LB worth a pick in that spot. Safety is certainly a need, but moreso as depth than a spot we need to spend a first round pick on unless there’s just a can’t miss guy there – which I don’t think Moehrig is

You could almost live with Moehrig if he was a true centerfielder, but TCU usually lined up two deep in the games I watched. I assume he’s getting first round buzz because they want to elevate at least one S into the conversation, and everyone else is a mid 2nd or worse grade. I know falcons fans get mad getting pegged with Micah, but you shouldn’t. Property Of XXl Landry Athletic Dept T-Shirt That boy is the real deal, probably the third best prospect in this draft behind lawrence and sewell Doesn’t matter we have 2 good off ball LBers and the rookie we drafted this year played well, unless he can be a full time pass rusher we shouldn’t take him. We really don’t. We may realistically have a top 5 LB unit. Our only need is maybe depth, but we’ve only kept 3 LBs on roster for a couple seasons now.

You think Deion and Foye are top 5? Even if they were (they weren’t this year), we absolutely need depth, walker didn’t show much this year, and Reynolds is nothing. So, at the very least we need depth,Property Of XXl Landry Athletic Dept T-Shirt because we can’t run 3 deep ever. As I said, we def need lb’s, but it’s not a top 5 pick need. But our whole problem on D is no depth. We need another solid corner, we need a FS cuz Rico ain’t it, and we need more edge bodies, but LB is a need, just not a starting need. Ehh, I went too heavy on the eye test on our backers, I’ll admit. I won’t turn down a day 3 backer that can help rush the passer though, but we agree it isn’t an immediate need. We need EDGE and safety and CB depth before even touching Lb. We literally don’t have a safety under contract next year except Rico who’s a cut candidate.
