I wasn’t recommending basing somewhere and going back and forth to get ships, but instead flying one way to the activity you want to do in an interceptor, then using the ship you left there to do the thing. Orca In Space Apressexual Pride T-Shirt If you want to move, sell the unfit interceptor, fly your mission/exploration ship to the new area you want to use it, then buy a new interceptor at your destination. Buying and using ships then selling them is nearly free, especially for the speedy travel ships.

The thing with EVE is that it is 100% a sandbox, and you can absolutely do what you want. Orca In Space Apressexual Pride T-Shirt Most seasoned EVE players know this, but also are nearly allergic to doing something in a non-optimal way once they know there is a more optimal solution. If you don’t care about being optimal, and are prepared to lose your Orca, then no worries on that front, you should totally just dive in and do this and have a blast!

It does sound like a more optimum solution and I may go for it long term, the orca will retain / increase in value provided it doesn’t get popped and if I see I’m getting no use out of it like I had envisioned I will happily sell it and move it on. I’ve heard of orcas being used as suitcases in wormholes but not in highsec since there is no real reason to (since you can dock and leave your ships in station). Exploration in high sec is just terrible ISK for the time investment. I suggest finding an Orca In Space Apressexual Pride T-Shirt empty c1 or c2 wormhole with a nullsec static and dropping a pos which will earn you some serious ISK compared to anything you would find in highsec excluding incursions.
