I really dig it. I felt a hint of Hate with the newer sound they have. Could use a bit more riffs but I think it’s really good. Honestly, I really like it. Sounds much more like good Deathcore to me as opposed the more recent stronger deathmetal influence. This still has a lot of Decapitated vibes as always, maybe you’re talking about the structure of the song that it’s less predictable? Official Thy Art Is Murder T-Shirt As much as I love Dear Desolation and Human Target, I do find it somewhat unfortunate that there is no band that filled the void Thy Art left after Holy War (still my favourite album of theirs). But this is is somewhat reminiscent of the overall grooviness of that album, and I enjoy it quite much.

We were smashed for time to write and record this song and it was thanksgiving at the time, so I figured we could write a commentary about racism/colonialism as told through this story. It gets a little frustrating when people take lyrics so one dimensionally but that how it be. Me too, we never really know what’s going to happen until we write the tunes,Official Thy Art Is Murder T-Shirt hopefully we like em and you do too haha In one way I enjoy this track a lot. It sounds like something they’ve done before but in a more fresh style. I’m definitely surprised that they’re releasing a track so soon, it feels like Human Target came out yesterday.

The riffs was technical yet heavy, CJ varied his vocals way more (his sick lows and highs are missed), the mix was perfect for the time, the breakdowns hits like a moving brick wall, their lyrics fits their sound they had on that album… I miss those slightly narcissist-inspiring catch phrases like “I’M HELL!” or “I’M THE EVERLASTING PROPHET OF DESTRUCTION”… Official Thy Art Is Murder T-Shirt those lyrics really made my heart jump to the rhythm of Reign of Darkness and feeling powerful. I really enjoyed this sci-fi themed Deathcore with the perspective being from the destroyer of worlds. It was cheesy, but damn it sounded so fucking metal.
