My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March, a cancer with a very low survival rate. But my dad is beating the odds and finished his last round of chemo this week! Here he is enjoying the birthday cake they made him at a benefit put on by the city. I am the luckiest girl in the world! I live about two hours from my dad so I don’t get to see him every day, but I hug him tight every time I get to see him! It is, but he is such a fighter and we have had an AMAZING group of people supporting us, from the community, to PANCAN, and we are even lucky enough to have a local Gilda’s club I hope a similar outcome for my dad.
