Right! I had no idea what was going on and then at the end was like oh ok saving this for later ha haGreat tutorial! I hadn’t even considered that the color would change until another commenter mentioned it. It’s great, I’ve used it once!

It’s a nice, and easy way to put a stripe along one edge of icing. I just put a stripe of gel color inside the bag, freeze, then fill with buttercream, and refrigerate until the gel is incorporated. It leaves a bright line of color along one edge of the piping rosette, just be sure to line it up. I like that you did a time lapse! Legend Since 2014 8 Years Old 8th Birthday Tie Dye T-Shirt I struggle to remember to take pics during the making process, but if I could just set a time lapse and move on? Genius!! Thank you! Me too, one thing it’s missing is a plug on the bigger side of my island though!

I did something similar for my daughter except she requested skittles style. 4 colours, cupcake hollowed out a little bit and some skittles jammed in them. Keeping them in seperate bags is such a good way to keep the colours nice and distinct – they turned out fantastic! My absolutely Favourite tip! Large star, I use this one 90% of the time even though I have about 50 others. Bought it at bulk barn, always looks so fancy 🙂 Legend Since 2014 8 Years Old 8th Birthday Tie Dye T-Shirt Oh that technique is brilliant! I’ve only ever done two colors at once but I put the two next to each other in the same cling wrap rather than in separate ones.
