idk man kinda depends on the doctor… but take into consideration i’m young now (22) and was only like 17 at the time but i had a couple herniated discs and some other problems (caudial extrusion?) in high school and still currently do from football and lifting weights.I went to the Eagles former team sports medicine doctor who was awesome and i even though i had been literally limping around with major pain for 3+ months, he didn’t want to give me any kind of pills bc they’d make me “loopy”…Bigfoot Sasquatch Funny This Land Is MY Land USA 4th of July T-Shirt  just prescribed cortisone shots and a lot of physical therapy and it almost completely fixed it.

I wouldnt for sure get your hopes up that they’ll give you pain killers esp. yea man then you should def try to find the best doctor that you can instead of just finding some doc who will lazily give you pills and not address the real issue I really feel for you.and just glad you’re not in Ohio.
