To anyone newish to guns, please loctite your screws, regardless of price or brand. For any accessories, be it scope mount, flashlight mount, or any other item, it’s just common sense to hit the threads so they can’t back out. I would loctite a 400 dollar Spuhr mount, and I would also loctite a 20 dollar Chinese mount, because any type oThat light is a Streamlight and it fared just fine. It was the mount that failed. I’d rewatch the video again if you think it’s about the light failing.f screw can back out under recoil eventually.

So far I have yet to encounter any failure with any of my streamlights or surefires either. But I also haven’t seen any problems with cheaper 30 dollar lights either. Draw from that what you will. But I am hyper confident, after actually testing multiple items, that a flashlight, is in fact, just a flashlight. No need to overthink the idea. Its a very simple thing to get 100% functionality from even a dirt cheap light .

I’ve got about 10 lights. StreaYeah, that jives with what I have seen as well. The minimum threshold to get a reliable and working flashlight on a gun seems to be a lot lower thaSome people are completely indifferent to anything but function but most people care about aesthetics, at least to some degree.n most people purport it to be.mlights, Olight, etc… none have ever broken… I bought a no name pos in 2009 because I got a deal and it still works with a couple thousand 9mm rounds through it
